Unboxing

I order supplies and gifts for the pets all the time. So, of course, there's going to be an unboxing post.
About a week ago, I ordered goodies for myself and for the pets from Amazon. A few days ago, they arrived and I filmed what happened!
Unboxing:

The Guinea pigs had a few items - a woven chew ball, the tassel hidey, and the plush crocodile bed. You don't see the crocodile bed in the unboxing video. I thought it was a dreamcatcher kit I ordered, and I put it to the side. I didn't realize my mistake until after i had already filmed all my videos. Here's a photo of Butter Stick checking out the bed.

No one has used it so far, but I like it. I put it out during floor time so the chinchillas can check it out as well.

I'm really happy with the tassel hidey. Apple Butter has spent a lot of time there since I installed it in the cage. I will definitely purchase a second one for Hiddleston and maybe a third for the other side of the Guinea pig cage. I definitely recommend!
Hiddleston was excited about his gifts. He received a Timothy hay woven bed, a chinchilla-shaped pumice stone, and a wooden toy to chew. That woven bed is about half way gone, and he's been sleeping in it! It's definitely going to be a future re-ordered.

Chili Pepper recieving his gifts:

In a different shipment, I purchased an air filter from Belk. The "Rodent Room" usually has the door closed to keep my dog out. The cats, also, need to be kept out because they like to eat the Timothy hay and then throw it back up. It's such a "lovely" situation. Because the room is full of hay, chinchilla dust, and allergens, I bought an air filter. It may be small, but it really works! Plus, it has a washable filter, which saves me in costs. I'm really happy with it.

What do you buy for your pets when you splurge?

  1. I don’t splurge too much on them. But when I do it is usually a chew toy or a doggie yogurt :)

    1. Doggie yogurt is pretty awesome! You can also try doggie New Orleans SnoBalls.
